The AMGDB association meets annually. These meetings provide presentations from outside experts on both national research policy and educational issues. They also offer scientific presentations by the members. Most importantly, the meeting gives members an opportunity to meet informally with colleagues from all over the U.S. and currently including Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico to discuss common problems.
Meetings are usually held over the MLK holiday weekend, to minimize time away from your home institutions, and meeting locations are chosen to minimize food and lodging costs.
